Job Description:
In the role of Dental Assistant, you will assist the dentist(s) at chairside during examination and treatment of patients, prepare dental instruments, equipment and supplies, X-Rays, assist in dental cases in the operating rooms, maintain dental clinic, and instruct visiting students. In addition, you may be asked to assist in the reception area, and perform related dental assistant duties as required. In this role, you will also be required to track statistical data on patients and also track quality assurance.
Qualifications
Experience and qualifications would include the ability to communicate effectively and a minimum of two years recent, relevant experience or graduate of a dental assistant certificate program. This is a per-diem position.
Must be able to travel to various sites within Long Island-Bayshore, Hempstead, Riverhead and Syosset.
